Canine Services

Steed & Lead offers a dedicated individually tailored dog walking service. Your pet will receive a free consultation meeting prior to being walked, this is for us all to get to know each other and any special requirements your dog may need, enabling us to design the perfect package to make you and your dog happy .

We have lots of various options on offer from 1-2-1 dog walking to group walking that all include free collection and drop-off in our fully kitted doggy van. When we return to your home we will give your dog a good towel down, or use our portable dog shower on them if they need a wash with warm water to get rid of those muddy paws, check on the water bowls, feed or medicate as instructed. 

We are happy to walk dogs on or off the lead once assessed and a relationship is achieved between us. We have a doggy GPS active tracker where we can track your dogs walk and how much exercise they have done! Also this is a safety procedure for those who are off the lead giving you piece of mind. 

Your dog can be taken to their local park and all their favourite places or can be picked up in our doggy van to be exercised in our fully enclosed exercise field. However, we recommend sticking to your dogs familiar surroundings for the first few walks if they are not so confident. 

As responsible dog walkers we never walk more than 4 dogs at a time, we are only able to take dogs on group walks that are friendly and well socialised with other dogs, we are also unable to take bitches in season, however 1-2-1 solo walks are available as an alternative.  We are also able to take up to 6 dogs to our exercise field.

We are fully insured for dog walking.

This consist of a 20-30 minute visit to your home to look after your pet, feed, provide fresh water, clear up any accidents or mess and let out to the toilet.  Leaving us plenty of time for lots of cuddles and play!

This includes a free pick up between 9 - 9.30am and drop home between 5 - 5.30pm. Includes 2 walks (duration/distance depends on your dogs age and health) chill out time at our fully licenced home in Bishops Stortford with plenty of toys, interaction with other dogs and lots of yummy treats and cuddles. 

Home from home experience for your dog when you are on holiday, they can have a holiday with us too. 

Due to recent changes to licensing legislation we can only board dogs who visit us regularly for daycare as dogs from different households must all be regularly familiarised with each other and resident dogs before boarding. 

We offer home boarding only for our regular day care clients.
